The ADB Cua Dai Bridge Access Road Project - Nam Hoi An is an inter-regional transportation route connecting Hoi A City with Tam Ky City, with a total length of 42.8 km. The route begins at Km6+400, south of the Cua Dai Bridge, and extends to Km42+880 at the intersection with National Highway 40B and the road linking Tam Thanh Industrial Zone to Ky Ha Port and Chu Lai Airport.
The project is divided into three sections. Phu Vinh Co., Ltd., a member company of FVG Group, is responsible for Section 3 (Km31+400 - Km42+880), covering 11.48 km through Duy Xuyen District, Thang Binh District, and Tam Ky City in Quang Nam Province. The construction period is expected to last 540 days, starting from October 21, 2021.
The Cua Dai Bridge Access Road - Nam Hoi An is part of the Hoi An Urban Environment and Infrastructure Development Project for Climate Change Adaptation, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Its aim is to improve urban infrastructure and promote the southward expansion of Hoi An City beyond the Thu Bon River, by investing in an inter-regional transportation system that links Hoi An with Tam Ky, the administrative center of Quang Nam Province.
