Lo O Bridge is a key component of the Ho Chi Minh Road construction project on the La Son - Tuy Loan section in Thua Thien Hue Province, undertaken by the Phu Vinh Construction Co., Ltd. Branch - a member company of FVG Group. Construction began in November 2015 and the bridge was officially handed over in June 2017.
The Ho Chi Minh Road, planned to run along the length of Vietnam from Pac Bo (Cao Bang) to Dat Mui (Ca Mau), serves as the second north-south axis in the west of the country. Together with National Highway 1A and transversal routes (national and provincial roads), it forms a complete national road transport system. Lo O Bridge, located at Km32+317.65 within the section from Km26+500 to Km38+00, is an important component contributing to the completion of this vital transnational arterial route.
Despite facing harsh conditions such as extreme weather and complex geological terrain that made the transportation of materials, machinery, and construction organization challenging, the engineers and workers of Phu Vinh worked tirelessly with the highest sense of responsibility to ensure both schedule and quality. The project was completed on time and handed over as committed, making an important contribution to local and inter-regional socio-economic development.
